i hate it when people start off their blog posts with the word “so”

“so, i was walking to work today and…”

“so, i have this problem..”

“so, i think my left hand is bigger than my right”

“so, im going to start off with a stroy about..”

“so, i want to tell you what a think of…”

“so, im going to kill myself, what should I use?”

you know, SO fucking what.

so, im going to start with the word “so” because i’m trying to present myself really openly (and I probably go up at the end of every damn sentence as if i’m constantly asking a question but really it’s because i’m making sure i don’t offend anyone with being certain about anything and therefore possibly poo-pooing what they think about Anything) and i’ll use it cos its a useful word to start off a discussion with as if it is a matter of fact like “guess what” or “now then” but so is not supposed to be used like that, it is not a preposition, it is a fucking BECAUSE word used to indicate a cause. and it indicates to me that you are a dimwhit. i’m sure that’s not how you spell dimwhit, who cares, i don’t care if i offend you, so i’m gonna go down at the end of My fucking sentence, just so you know how serious I am.

i sound like a twat now. but this has served a ranting purpose.
